For hospitals considering transitioning from a 0/3 h to a 0/1 h pathway, implementation decisions should take broader diagnostic and organisational considerations into account.

Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) in Assam has announced plans to add a state-of-the-art Trauma Block within its 500-bed Emergency Department. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) shared the development through its social media channels, describing it as “a major boost to healthcare infrastructure in the Barak Valley” .
